Romans 6:1-4: Why Christians cannot live in sin

The doctrine of assurance just preached from Romans 5 raises an old fear: does it encourage careless living? Romans 6:1-4 answers that grace does not give Christians license to sin but instead unites them to Christ’s death, so that continuing in sin becomes a contradiction of who they now are.
