Romans 5:5-8: God’s love – the ground of our hope

How can a Christian be sure that God really loves them, and that this life is not all leading to a cruel disappointment? That’s the question Paul answers in Romans 5:5-8, with both the subjective proof of the Spirit poured into our hearts and the objective proof of Christ dying for us while we were still sinners.
