DESCRIPTION:Topic: The Doctrine of God (Part 2) The Trinity\nInstructor: Ian Goodman (South City Reformed Baptist Church) and Nick Clevely (Covenant Grace Baptist Church)\nHosted by: South City Reformed Baptist Church\, Auckland \nThe classical doctrine of the Trinity has helped believers to understand and articulate what the Scripture reveals about God and also helped us to worship him rightly. The church today has become unfamiliar with this tradition and we’re often confused or perhaps even in error in our thinking about God. The classical doctrine of the Trinity is essential for knowing and worshipping God rightly as Father\, Son and Holy Spirit. In Matthew 16:13-18 Jesus tells us how important a right view of himself and his relationship to the father is for the Church. He is “the Christ\, the Son of the living God.” Without this confession there is no church. This is what the classical doctrine of the Trinity is all concerned with. \nFind us: Drive in through the gate to the carpark at the back then walk through main entrance walkway across the courtyard and into the main hall (building has a green exterior wall).

DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to be hosting a parenting conference on 2 May 2026\, and we warmly invite all to join. \nThe flyer with the full schedule is attached. This is a free event\, but please register using the form below to assist us with planning. \nWe hope that this day will encourage\, strengthen\, and even challenge us as we seek to raise our children for the glory of God. The sessions will cover both the overarching principles of parenting and seek to address the everyday realities of parenting in a fallen world. Check out the flyer for more details on each session. During each session\, there will be time for questions\, allowing you to think through how these principles apply to your own circumstances by interacting with the speakers. \nThis conference is not only for parents. We all share in the responsibility of encouraging and discipling the next generation. Discipleship is the work of the whole church\, so understanding the biblical goals of parenting can help each of us better support families and invest wisely in the lives of the children and young people in our fellowship. \nTo assist families\, a children’s programme will run for ages 5–13 from 9:00am to 4:00pm\, with a lunch break from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. Please register your children in advance using the Google form. \nLight refreshments will be provided for morning and afternoon tea. Please bring your own lunch\, as lunch will not be supplied. \nWe trust this will be a beneficial and encouraging day for you and for our church as a whole.

SUMMARY:School of Theology 2026
DESCRIPTION:This annual week of teaching and discussion is aimed at helping men who desire to be better equipped for service in their churches. It is a post-graduate level course which assumes familiarity with the Bible and Christian theology. It is an intensive week of study with up to 27 hours of teaching over the course of five days. \nWhile it is primarily intended for men who attend churches within the Fellowship of Reformed Baptist Churches in New Zealand\, others may attend at the discretion of our elders; women may also attend some courses (please contact us to enquire before registering). Participants are expected to attend the entire School of Theology which begins after lunch on the Monday and concludes late afternoon on the Friday. All participants are expected to attend a dinner on the Thursday evening but other evenings are free. \nOur seventeenth annual School of Theology will be held 6th-10th July 2026\, the Lord willing. Registrations are now open.
