‘Sufficiency’ Biblical Counselling Conference – Restoring Confidence in the Sufficiency of Scripture for Every Need!

This 2025 South Island Biblical Counselling Conference is happening in Christchurch.

Date: Saturday, 22nd March 2025, 9:00am – 4:00pm.

Venue: Junior Hall, Middleton Grange School, Acacia Ave Entrance, Upper Riccarton, Christchurch.

We are excited to welcome our main speaker Dr James (Jim) Fain for a day of teaching and equipping in the area of biblical counselling.

Jim serves as a Fellow for the Association of Certified Biblical Counsellors (ACBC), he is the Pastor of Cornerstone Reformed Church, Franklin, Indiana, USA, and he is the Director of Rod & Staff Ministries.

Whether you are a certified/qualified counsellor, a counsellor in training, or someone who is simply interested in what biblical counselling is all about, this conference is for you!

** Pre-conference ** 

There is a special pre-conference equipping day which is happening the day before, on Friday, 21st March, which will be specifically geared for both certified/qualified biblical counsellors, and trainee biblical counsellors.

This conference and pre-conference is hosted by the New Zealand Biblical Counselling Association (NZBCA), and Hope Counselling Centre.

Although there is no registration fee for the conference or pre-conference, all attendees must register ahead of time to assist with the organisation and catering.
